candleholder tips and tricks

due to the handmade nature, sometimes the candle holder’s hole is slightly too large or too small for the candles you may have at hand. a helpful trick is to burn the bottom of the taper for a few seconds to melt the wax, and then stick the bottom into the candleholder and it should solidly grip and stay in place. if the hole is too small, gently shave the end of the taper with a butter knife to a diameter which fits snugly into the hole.

It is not recommended to burn the entire taper through. Instead, extinguish and replace with a new candle when there is about an inch left in the taper - this should help keep the candleholder clean and easier to switch for a new candle time and time again :)
